Romans 4:25 He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God. My Reflection: What a moment in time! To just TRY to even visualize that moment when Jesus took his last breath sounds unimaginable! The earth SHOOK. People were being raised from the dead! What?! If that started happening right now, I am sure that most of us would probably pass out. The curtain ripped right down the middle signifying that we were no longer separated from God and that, "Christ was the offering for our sins."2 Corinthians 5:21. God seems to prove himself to us over and over again. When will we believe God for who he says he is and for what he has done? The Roman soldiers realized in that moment that Jesus was the Son of God. Matthew 27:54 "Surely, he was the son of God." But, what about all of those times that Jesus performed miracles and showed love? Why didn't they believe him for who he said he was then? How many times does God have to prove himself to us before we believe him for who he says he is? When will we choose to have faith in the middle of the storm? Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen." Let us have faith in God today even when our future seems uncertain.
