Risen Day 18: Matthew 28:1-20, 1 Peter 1:18-21

My Reflection: Stop...Think...Take a moment to reflect. Reflect on Jesus's perfection. Reflect on our imperfections. Now, reflect on how we are made right through Christ. God, the creator of this world is madly in love with us. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." What does eternal look like to you? It's unimaginable right?! Something that we cannot even wrap our heads around with our finite minds. Eternal means forever! We will spend forever with our Father. A Father who loves us. A Father that gave his Son to die for us. A friend, the bestest friend in the whole world that, "gave up his divine privileges, took the humble position of a slave, and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal's death on a cross." At the end of Matthew 28, Jesus commands us to preach this good new to the ends of the earth. Let us open our mouths and proclaim this good news to all that we see. It is too good to keep it to ourselves.
