My Reflection: Every time we sin, it can be discouraging. When you do what you're not supposed to do and do not exercise self-control like you should, it can make you feel icky inside...
The wonderful news is that even though sin can be a reminder of how unworthy and sinful we are, it can be a reminder of how blessed and loved we are. Sin is what separates us from God, but after Jesus came and rose from the dead, our bond is now reconnected. No, we are not going to live perfect lives, but we can live our lives with freedom and forgiveness. We can run to the Father time after time and he will open His loving arms to us. As we grow in our walk with God, we will become stronger through the Holy Spirit. And as the Holy Spirit works through us, we will begin to look more and more like Him. However, the most exciting news is that when Jesus comes back, we will have completely new transformed bodies that will no longer be sinful. We will be perfect! How beautiful and exciting!
